Home made Tortillas

You can make Tortillas at home from scratch. Home made Tortillas are much better than store bought. This is very simple and easy recipe.


  • 1 Cup of plain Flour and 1 Cup of Wheat Flour
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Warm Water 


Vidhi (Direction)
  • Mix flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl. Add oil and rub.

  • Gradually add warm water and knead to a smooth dough. Let rest for 10 minutes.
  • Divide dough into 5 or 6 equal portion, roll each portion into a thin circle.

  • In a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray or oil, cook tortillas over medium heat until both side lightly browned. Keep warm.
