Ingredients
- 2 Big Tomatoes Chopped
- 1 Medium Onion Chopped
- 1 Teaspoon Chana Dal ( Split gram)
- 3 Dry Red Chilies
- 2 Teaspoon oil
- 1/2 Teaspoon Onion seeds
- Salt to taste
Directions:-
- Soak chana dal for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Heat a teaspoon of oil in pan.
- Put chana dal and 2 dry red chilies. Saute till dal turns golden brown. About 30 seconds.
- Add chopped onion and saute till soft. Add chopped tomatoes and salt. Saute till soft.
- Let it cool. Grind coarsely in a mixer.
- Heat the remaining oil in a pan and add onion seeds and dry red chili. Once it splutter add this to chutney.
- Serve with Roti or Dal and rice.
